Rotary Laem Chabang and Rotary Sriracha Join Hands to Organize the "Strong Dental Health" Project for Monks and Underprivileged Communities

On October 21st, Rotary Club of Laem Chabang, led by President Ketsara Panyapun, collaborated with the Rotary Club of Sriracha, led by President Thanyarat Ploypradap and their team, to organize the "Strong Dental Health, Spreading Smiles to the Community" project. The event took place at Wat Ton Mamuang (Wat Noen Boonyaram) in Sriracha District, Chonburi Province, with the goal of providing dental care services to Buddhist monks, novices, and local residents in the Ban Huai Lek community of Laem Chabang Municipality —an area where many individuals face challenges in accessing dental care.
Currently, oral health issues remain a major concern affecting people's quality of life, especially for monks, the elderly, and bedridden patients who are unable to travel to dental clinics. This initiative aims to bridge the gap in dental care accessibility for remote communities.

Mobile Dentistry – A New Approach to Oral Health Care

Reducing Inequality in Access to Dental Services
Many people in Thailand still struggle to access dental care due to various factors, including:
- Travel limitations – Living in remote areas or facing difficulty traveling to clinics.
- Physical limitations – Being elderly, bedridden, or having physical conditions that hinder mobility.
- Economic limitations – Lacking financial resources for dental treatment.
To address these issues, mobile dental clinics have been introduced to provide treatment directly in communities. This approach helps reduce disparities in healthcare by making dental services more accessible, convenient, and safe for those who need them most.

Services Provided in the "Strong Dental Health" Project
During this mobile dental clinic event, a team of dentists and volunteers offered the following services:
- Oral health check-ups – Basic examination of dental and oral health conditions.
- Scaling – Removal of plaque and tartar to reduce the risk of gum disease.
- Dental fillings – Repairing cavities to prevent further tooth decay.
- Tooth extractions – Removing severely decayed teeth that cannot be restored.
- Oral health education – Providing guidance on proper dental care for long-term health.

One of the key supporters of this project is AT U Dental, a reputable dental provider trusted by organizations and institutions for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives in dental care.

Promoting Good Oral Health for a Sustainable Quality of Life
This project not only provides high-quality dental care to monks and local residents but also educates the community on proper oral hygiene. Good oral health directly impacts overall well-being, as untreated dental issues such as cavities and gum disease can lead to severe health conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and digestive problems.
Therefore, conducting such initiatives regularly is essential for improving people's quality of life. AT U Dental, is committed to being a part of social initiatives that make a meaningful difference.

The "Strong Dental Health" project, led by the Rotary Clubs of Laem Chabang and Sriracha, plays a crucial role in bridging the gap in dental care accessibility for underprivileged communities. Supported by AT U Dental, a high-standard dental clinic offering both commercial and social services, this initiative ensures that quality dental care reaches those who need it the most.
A healthy smile starts with regular dental check-ups. AT U Dental is your best choice for caring for your smile and the smiles of your loved ones. 💙✨
